Valencia vs. Barcelona: Preview and TV schedule
Barcelona will face a stiff challenge as they travel to face Valencia on Sunday missing two regular starters who Gerardo Martino has chosen to rest after a recent busy schedule.
Barcelona could very well be a bit tired after their match against Atletico on Wednesday and based on the traveling squad, head coach Gerando Martino is aware of that. Tata intends to rest regular starters Xavi Hernandez and Alexis Sanchez and neither player will travel for the game.
Valencia have started slow this season barely beating Malaga in their opener and getting thoroughly beaten by Espanyol last weekend. A match against Barcelona is rarely a way to get things turned around but Los Che did hold the Blaugrana to a draw at the Mestalla last season.
Valencia haven’t beaten Barca since the 2006-07 season.
