Manchester United have had a shaky start to the season, with the four points amassed from the opening three games not exactly a convincing start to David Moyes' Old Trafford tenure. He'll be looking to ensure the Red Devils bounce back from the disappointment of defeat to Liverpool before the international break with a win over Crystal Palace this weekend, with anything but three points sure to see the pressure on the new boss ratcheted up.
Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace: Preview and TV schedule
Manchester United will look to bounce back off a defeat to Liverpool with three points from Crystal Palace this weekend.
It won't be an easy game, with Ian Holloway's Palace high on confidence after their 3-1 win against Sunderland in their last league game, though United really ought to have enough to see off their newly-promoted opponents. Holloway will serve a touchline ban during this game, with assistant manager Keith Millen likely to be left in charge of affairs on the bench.
For United, Darren Fletcher will continue to miss out, while Wayne Rooney is also sidelined as he recovers from his head injury. Rafael and Phil Jones are both in doubt, while Deadline Day arrival Marouane Fellaini will likely only make his debut from the bench. Palace have a long list of injury problems including striker Glenn Murray, who was instrumental in their promotion campaign. Jerome Thomas and Jonathan Parr are in doubt.
Manchester United Injuries and suspensions
Out: Darren Fletcher (illness), Wayne Rooney (head). In doubt: Rafael (hamstring), Phil Jones (ankle).
