The strange story of Real Madrid's Iker Casillas took another turn today after the goalkeeper was forced to leave Los Blancos' Champions League match against Galatasaray after only 15 minutes with a rub injury.
Iker Casillas injury: Real Madrid goalkeeper subbed after suffering a rib injury
The Spanish international goalkeeper lasted only 15 minutes after suffering a rib injury during a collision with Sergio Ramos.

He suffered the injury after a hard collision with defender Sergio Ramos and tried to continue with his ribs heavily bandaged, but to no avail. He only lasted a couple minutes before calling to the sidelines for a substitution. Diego Lopez, who has started every La Liga match for Madrid this season, came on in his place.
Considering Casillas’ disappointment at having lost his starting position last season due to an injury and not being able to regain it this season, having to leave during his first match of the season will be another blow.
It’s just not fun to be Saint Iker right now.
