Paris Saint-Germain are interested in acquiring Chelsea attacking midfielder Juan Mata, if L'Equipe are to be believed. Chelsea have previously rejected a bid for his services from Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not for sale, but it would be much easier for Chelsea to stomach a sale to PSG than an English rival.
Paris Saint-Germain reportedly making a shock Juan Mata move
Jose Mourinho has insisted Juan Mata isn’t for sale, but perhaps he just meant he’s not for sale to English rivals.

PSG were apparently interested in Mesut Özil, who appears to have chosen Arsenal, and have now set their sights on Mata after losing out. If Mourinho was being genuine about Mata having a place at the club, these attempts will probably be equally futile.
Mata hasn’t been able to find a spot in the Chelsea starting XI this season, despite recording 35 assists during the last campaign and looking like the Blues’ brightest attacking player. L’Equipe doesn’t cite a bid amount for Mata, so it’s difficult to guess exactly how serious PSG are with their interest.
