Manchester City vs. Manchester United: Match underway

The first Manchester Derby of the season has kicked off, and it's kicked off without arguably the two best attacking players who play for either team. Robin van Persie picked up an injury this week and David Silva is still not fit enough to start. Hopefully the match is fun anyway.

Starting up top for Manchester United in van Persie's place is Danny Welbeck. While he's no van Persie, he's certainly dangerous and might link up with Wayne Rooney a bit better than RVP ever did. He's more of a pure poacher and won't drop deep into the same spaces that Rooney wants to occupy, for the most part.

Keep an eye on the center of midfield, where the biggest battle in the game should take place. Marouane Fellaini looks like a great signing for United, and his presence probably means that Yaya Toure won't be able to absolutely steamroll the United midfield as he has in the recent past.
