Manchester City are looking the more likely team to score 15 minutes into the Manchester Derby, but the visitors are holding their own.
Manchester City vs. Manchester United:
The game got off to a fast start with Danny Welbeck making his way into the box just 20 seconds in, but he wasn't able to create a shot on target or a corner, despite the early scare for City. They had a chance of their own just three minutes later off a bad giveaway, but Jesus Navas shot well over from 20 yards out.
Howard Webb has already tried to set the tone for the match, indicating that he's not going to tolerate lots of physical play as is often seen in big derby matches. He showed Matija Nastasic a yellow card for the first bad foul of the match after he crushed Chris Smalling in the 5th minute.
Wayne Rooney was a bit lucky to escape a booking in the 15th minute when he kicked the ball at Samir Nasri after the whistle had blown, but it was obvious that he went to kick the ball before he heard Webb blow for a free kick. He pleased to escape a booking and Webb accepted his explanation.
City has had more of the ball and look like creating chances, but they haven't tested David De Gea yet. Through 15 minutes, Manchester United look a lot like David Moyes' Everton in a big road match.
