It's been all Manchester City for the first 15 minutes of the Manchester Derby, and they've capitalized on all of their early dominance with an opening goal. Sergio Aguero has his team on top with a great finish from close range, though some poor defending by Manchester United certainly made it easier on him.
Sergio Aguero puts Manchester City ahead early in derby
Aleksandar Kolarov, who has looked dangerous on the left flank up against Antonio Valencia and Chris Smalling, assisted the goal with a low cross. He got to the byline and cut back to the center of the six-yard box where Aguero, who had lost Patrice Evra, was waiting. He stretched to apply a bit of an unorthodox finish, but it worked nonetheless.

Manchester United had set up a bit defensive in this one and are going to have to change up their gameplan a bit. They have the talent to find a goal, but they’re looking a bit rattled at the moment.
