It's turning into an absolute rout at the Ethiad Stadium. Manchester City had no problem going into the halftime break 2-0 ahead of Manchester United, and it's already gotten worse for the Red Devils. A mere one minute into the second half, Sergio Aguero scored his second goal of the afternoon.
Manchester United getting pasted: It’s 4-0 now
Whatever David Moyes said to his team at halftime did absolutely nothing. He didn't make any substitutions at halftime, but he's already brought Tom Cleverley off the bench to try to change things. Related; He has Shinji Kagawa and Javier Hernandez sitting on the bench in trainers.
Then, right after Cleverley came on, it got worse. Samir Nasri made it 4-0 in the 51st minute, turning in a cross by Jesus Navas.
Alvaro Negredo set up the goal, and it was a beautiful assist. He held up the ball and cut a great ball back across the face of goal. Absolutely no one tracked the run of Aguero (this is a theme in this game) and he finished easily. Here’s the goal, via @FeintZebra on Twitter. Hover over the image to animate.
And here’s the second from the same source.
