Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea: Preview and TV schedule

Saturday’s early kick-off is the highlight of the Premier League weekend, as joint-top side Tottenham Hotspur host Chelsea.

Ben Hoskins

Tottenham Hotspur have started the Premier League season like true title contenders, currently sitting joint-top of the table with the only team to have beaten them so far -- North London rivals Arsenal. André Villas-Boas' side meet Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Saturday, with José Mourinho's team just a couple of points off the pace.

It hasn't been an easy few weeks for Chelsea, who had gone a month without winning -- including a shock Champions League defeat to Basel -- before they saw off Fulham 2-0 in their last Premier League match. They'll be hoping to have finally found much-needed momentum heading into this one.

However, they'll be without midfielder Marco van Ginkel after the crushing news he could miss the season with a bad knee injury, while Ramires is in doubt with a hip problem. For Spurs, Étienne Capoue and Younès Kaboul are both unavailable, and could be joined on the sidelines by Danny Rose, Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon.

Tottenham Hotspur Injuries and suspensions

Out: Étienne Capoue (knee), Younès Kaboul (thigh). In doubt: Danny Rose (ankle), Emmanuel Adebayor (illness), Aaron Lennon (foot).

Chelsea injuries and suspensions

Chelsea: Petr Čech; Ashley Cole, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanović; John Obi Mikel, Ramires; Eden Hazard, Oscar, André Schürrle; Samuel Eto'o
