Hull City vs. Chelsea: Preview and TV schedule

Chelsea will look to gain ground on Arsenal for first place in the league, but Hull have been excellent at home.

Hull City are a truly atrocious away team. Luckily for them, they are home this weekend, but that might not mean much against Chelsea. The Blues have won their last three Premier League matches and have dominated the Tigers in recent years, going undefeated in their last six meetings with Hull.

The question for Hull is whether they can score enough to keep pace with Chelsea. The Blues have scored at least two goals in eight of their last 10 matches, but the Tigers have just 22 goals to their name all season and Robbie Brady leads them with just three goals. Making matters worse, Brady is out this weekend with a groin injury.

When Chelsea and Hull met in the first match of the season, the Blues came out firing at Stamford Bridge and looked likely to run away with the match, but the Tigers played their way back into the match. The introductions of Jake Livermore and Tom Huddlestone allowed Hull to grab a foothold in the midfield and gave them a fighting chance. With both midfielders set to start on Saturday, they are hoping that, plus the home field, will net them three points and put a dent in Chelsea's title hopes.20
