The magic of the cup was noticeably absent from Saturday's FA Cup ties, in which no major upsets occurred. The only thing resembling an upset happened at the DW Stadium, where Championship side Wigan downed Premier League relegation battlers Crystal Palace. The visitors kept a small selection of first choice players on the bench, but still played a strong team against the defending champs.
FA Cup scores: Manchester City come back while Crystal Palace bow out
While there was plenty of excitement on Saturday with Manchester City heeding to come from two down and Palace going out, there were no serious upsets during this round of FA Cup play.

Sergio Aguero scored a hat trick in the final 30 minutes of the game, helping the Citizens to a 4-2 win. Elsewhere, there were also wins for Premier League sides Liverpool, Sunderland, Cardiff, Hull and Swansea.
Last up on Saturday are Stevenage and Everton, who kick off the late game at 5:30 p.m. local time, 12:30 p.m. ET.
