Crystal Palace and Stoke City scrapping over Tom Ince

Crystal Palace and Stoke City are scrapping over Blackpool winger Tom Ince, according to Sky Sports News.

Blackpool winger Tom Ince has been very highly rated for quite some time, and today he could finally secure a move to the Premier League. According to Sky Sports News, Crystal Palace and Stoke City are tussling over the 22-year-old, with Ince preferring a switch to Palace.

That’s apparently because Palace are offering him a short-term loan deal, which means he’ll have the freedom to choose where he wants to go when his Blackpool contract expires in the summer. Stoke, on the other hand, are offering to purchase Ince outright, which would mean he’d be at Britannia Stadium for the long haul. And no one wants that ... (only joking, Stoke fans).

Ince is the son of former England captain Paul, and has been capped 12 times at U21 level for the Three Lions. He scored 18 league goals last season, and seven so far this -- certainly not bad going for a winger.
