Once upon a time, Kaka was the best footballer in the world. He was a Ballon d’Or winner and, along with Ronaldinho, Brazil’s most prized possession.
Kaka scores 100th goal for AC Milan
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... 100.
That was a while ago, when he was playing with Andrea Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Filippo Inzaghi, Alessandro Nesta and Paolo Maldini. Since, Pirlo has left for Juventus, Seedorf went to play in Brazil, Inzaghi and Maldini have retired and Nesta joined the Montreal Impact, leaving Kaka as the last remaining member of Milan's glory years. Of course, he did leave the rossoneri for Real Madrid, but he returned, and it just feels so right to see him in Milan's black and red.
Those memories and that return is what made Monday so special. Kaka ran down the left, gathered the ball and was plenty patient in settling before slotting the ball inside the post for the goal -- his 100th goal with Milan.
Kaka scoring for Milan. Too perfect, all 100 times.
Less perfect, but infinitely more hilarious and horrifying is Tiziano Crudeli’s reaction.
