Manchester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur live stream: How to watch the EPL online, TV schedule and more

Manchester City will look to demolish Tottenham Hotspur once again in Saturday’s early kickoff.

The Premier League starts the weekend with its most intriguing fixture, with Manchester City hosting Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday's early kickoff. Heading into the match, City are five points adrift of league leaders Chelsea in second place, while Spurs are three points and four positions in arrears after a pretty shaky start to the season under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

There’s little doubt that City are the favourites heading into the match, despite them having not been perfect so far this season. Though they’re unlikely to keep a clean sheet going off their recent defensive form, their attacking firepower saw them thrash Spurs 11-1 on aggregate last season. Fortunately, manager Pochettino is a famously excellent defensive organiser, and they shouldn’t ship quite as many this time around.

Key player - Sergio Agüero (Manchester City)

There’s little doubt that the star of City’s season so far has been attacker Sergio Agüero, who has terrorised defences with his tireless running and movement across the final third. He perfectly complements his more static partner, Edin Džeko, and has already found the net five times so far this season. Keeping him quiet will be a top priority for Tottenham.

Key matchup - Christian Eriksen vs. Fernando

The best player in this Spurs team is Christian Eriksen, who was outstanding in his first Premier League season, despite arriving in England at only 21 years of age. The Danish international is the attacking fulcrum of the Spurs team, and is given the responsibility of playing deadly through-balls from his attacking midfield position. If he can find space in behind City’s more defensive midfielder, Fernando, he could do damage.

Manchester City injuries and suspensions

Out: Samir Nasri (groin). In doubt: Fernandinho (hamstring).

Tottenham Hotspur injuries and suspensions

Out: Kyle Walker (abdomen), Kyle Naughton (ankle). In doubt: Nacer Chadli (hip), Hugo Lloris (thigh).

Manchester City will certainly be without Samir Nasri, though they’ll hope to have Fernandinho back from a hamstring injury. Spurs, meanwhile, will definitely be without full-backs Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton, though Nacer Chadli and Hugo Lloris could both be back from slight injuries.
