Verona vs. Milan: Time, TV and how to watch online

AC Milan need the win against teams like Hellas Verona if they are to mount a serious challenge for third place, but it won’t be easy as Hellas are a tough team to beat at their stadium.

Milan have had a decent start to the season, suffering only one defeat so far -- to champions and first-place holders Juventus. In the last round, the rossoneri beat that other Verona side, Chievo, earning their first win since the dramatic 5-4 over Parma in mid-September. Obviously Clarence Seedorf is keen for his side to continue on the same path.

After a highly successful first half last season, Hellas Verona started the new one in much the same manner. The two teams are equal on points with eleven after six games, with the gialloblu losing only one game, to another title contender, AS Roma.

Key player - Stephan El Shaarawy

Stephan El Shaarawy has started just two games so far this season, and has recently talked to the media about not being happy with his status and wanting more time on the pitch. While doing that just few days before an important game might not be the smartest idea ever, it might also show that El Shaarawy is highly motivated. With Jeremy Menez likely out due to injury, it will be a great opportunity for him to prove his worth against Hellas.

Key matchup - Panagiotis Tachtsidis vs. Milan's midfield

Panagiotis Tachtsidis might not be the star of Hellas, but the playmaker is an extremely important player, especially now that the gialloblu have many injured midfielders. If Milan can keep him under control, Verona’s attacking trio will have much less scoring opportunities.

Verona injuries and suspensions

Mounir Obbadi, Gustavo Campanharo, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos (injured); Jacopo Sala (doubtful)
