This is one of the best own goals you will ever see

The teamwork, the precision, the skill, the finish -- it’s beautiful.

Dean Mouhtaropoulos

To perfectly judge a cross is tough, but Groningen did it.

To flick a ball on so deftly that it lands right on the head of your teammate is difficult, but Groningen did it.

To head the ball right into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper no chance is difficult, but Groningen did it.

Groningen scored an absolute gorgeous goal. And they did it in their own net.

Then again, this could prove useful. Groningen are bottom of the Eredivisie in goals. Maybe this will teach them just to put their defenders and defensive midfielders up front and voila! They’ll score goals!
