The must watch match of round seven in La Liga is without a doubt is Atlético Madrid’s trip to face Valencia. It’s an early season battle between the second and third place team in the league, thanks to Los Che’s strong start to the season. This is Valencia’s first big test of the season as it’s the first time they faced one of Spain’ “big three”. A win over Atléti would send a loud message about their intentions this year.
La Liga schedule and preview, Week 7: Valencia gets their first big test against Atlético Madrid
Valencia will attempt to continue their fantastic start to the season as they welcome the defending champions to the Mestalla.

Barcelona were stunned by Paris Saint-Germain in the midweek losing their first match of the season and conceded their first goals as well. Nobody was pleased with the result from Luis Enrique on down, which has to leave Ray Vallecano wondering if this is the time to be playing Barca, who clearly have something to prove.
Real Madrid welcoming Athletic Bilbao to the Bernabéu should have been a marquee matchup but Athletic’s season has started about as badly as possible with just a single win in all competitions. After such a successful campaign last year to make their return to the Champions League, nothing has gone right for Ernesto Valderde’s team.
