For the 20th anniversary of the Predator boot, adidas have been a very busy bunch. Thus far, we've seen blackout, whiteout, a relaunch of old favorites, reds, blues, and World Cup colorways. With just a couple of editions left to go for the year, the sportswear giant has officially unveiled the latest version of what is perhaps its most famous silo along with another trio of lighter boots in wild colorways.
adidas announce new Crazylight versions of Predator Instinct, F50, Nitrocharge, & 11Pro boots

adidas are no strangers to light boots, having really kicked off the trend back in 2010 with the original F50 adiZero. Since then, we've seen SL versions of the Predator and adiPure as well as the first of the Crazylight series, a boot that originally dropped back in April. There are a pair of first with this release though as adidas have launched four (relatively) super-light boots all at once as well as having introduced the Nitrocharge into the weight loss club.

Reduction in grams aside, all four boots share one big thing in common is the use of the Sprintframe outsole that had been a major part of the F50 since its inception. All of the boots retain all of their respective features and trademarks while shedding weight. From lightest to heaviest, the range goes from the F50 at 140g to the 11Pro at 180g to the Predator Instinct at 215g with the Nitrocharge completing the series at 225g. To put it into perspective, the Samba and Battle Pack F50 came in at 150g with previous versions weighing 165g.

The Predator Instinct, which is arguably the pack's showpiece, keeps the large lethal zone, pass pad, and control pad. The F50 and 11Pro both feature new uppers that reduce weight while maintaining performance. The Nitrocharge's weight reduction comes from the introduction of the new outsole. All four boots feature bright, new colorways that will be unmistakable on the pitch.

The pack drops on Wednesday and will be available on adidas' website.
