A great kick and the wind combine for a great corner kick goal
Lance Laing and Mother Nature make a good team.

Scoring straight from a corner kick is difficult and requires a lot of help, usually from the goalkeeper, but FC Edmonton’s Lance Laing solicited the help of someone else -- Mother Nature.
He hit a wicked corned kick in, hard and drive, but that alone wasn’t going to beat the goalkeeper. He needed a vicious wind, like a wind strong enough to blow a corner flag almost sideways. And he got it.
The result: OLIMPICOOOO!
