Pochettino didn’t celebrate Lamela’s rabona because he saves emotions for bed

Erik Lamela scored an absolutely stunning goal on Thursday. Somehow, he thought it was a good idea to try a 20-yard rabona and, even more astoundingly, he pulled it off. It was absolutely unbelievable [Watch it here]. And what was his manager's reaction?

That was Mauricio Pochettino’s actual reaction to one of the best goals you will see.

It’s almost concerning how unmoved he is by it all. He’s not happy, amazed, even bemused. He just ... is.

And why was he completely devoid of emotion?

“I only show emotion at home, and in my bed,” he told the BBC.

Oh. Okay then.
