Or is that just Bayer Leverkusen? And not only did they risk his well-being, but they took his shoe off.
Brian the Lion is a historic, noble and well-respected mascot. To treat him like this is appalling. He is not a play toy, but a real semi-human fake being who deserves adulation.
We’ll see if the mascot’s union files a grievance.
