Hearts were 1-0 down to rivals Hibernian in stoppage time and were all but dead. And then Alim Ozturk thought, “hey I should shoot from 40 yards!”
You should shoot from 40 yards!
The defender (!) hit the perfect shot off the bottom of the crossbar and in, sending the crowd wild. That is an amazing goal in a preseason friendly against the Bobbington U-17s, but in the 91st minute of a derby? Lose your damn mind and campaign to have the goal count double, because it should.
