The MLS regular season is over, the field has been cut from 19 to 10 and the playoffs are set to begin. They get underway on Oct. 29 with the Western Conference knockout round match and the Eastern Conference follows the next day. Those will be the first of 15 playoff matches, with the tournament concluding on Dec. 7 with the MLS Cup.

Of the 15 playoff matches, 12 will be nationally televised. Seven of them will be on either ESPN or ESPN2, with NBC or NBCSN showing five.
