According to a report in Spanish newspaper AS, Barcelona playmaker Andrés Iniesta will miss four matches with a calf injury. The club are yet to issue an update on his condition, but according to AS, he underwent medical tests on Sunday morning after being substituted in the second half of the weekend's Clásico fixture against Real Madrid.

He is said to be targeting a return in the club's fixture against Sevilla late next month. If he's out until then, he would miss Wednesday's fixture against Espanyol in the Copa Catalunya, Primera División fixtures against Celta de Vigo and Almería, and the Catalan club's Champions League match away at Ajax.

Barça will be desperate for him to recover as quickly as possible, with the 30-year-old having continued to feature regularly since Luis Enrique took over from Tata Martino in the summer. He continues to be one of the side's biggest assets, some 12 years after he made his first appearance.
