West Ham's fantastic start to the season could be slowed down with the news that striker Diafra Sakho will miss up to a month after injuring his shoulder in the Irons' 2-1 win over Manchester City. Scans on Sakho's shoulder done on Monday revealed damage to the Senegalese player, but the club has not gone into specifics as to the extent of the injury.
Diafra Sakho will miss next month for West Ham
Sam Allardyce will be thin at the striker position for at least the next two matches after news Sakho’s shoulder injury will keep him out up to a month.

Sakho has scored seven goals in seven games for the Irons this season and the club has reportedly been close to signing him to a new contract.
With Sakho sidelined and Andy Carroll still trying to recover from an ankle injury in the preseason, the striker position will be a bit thin for coach Sam Allardyce. Fortunately after their next two matches against Stoke City and Aston Villa, the Premier League takes a two-week break for internationals, giving Sakho time to recover and potentially make a return in mid-November.
