The Copa del Rey moves into the knockout rounds starting on Wednesday with the first two ties getting underway. Thanks to some weird scheduling the rest of the schedule won’t even kickoff until early December.
Copa del Rey 2014, Round 4: Schedule, scores and results
The knockout phase of the King’s Cup begins with week with two first leg matches involving Real Madrid and Sevilla.

The defending champions Real Madrid are one of the early birds as they will face Cornellà of Segunda División B, the third tier of Spanish football. Chances are Carlo Ancelotti will put out a mostly young side with plenty of relatively unknown faces from Real Madrid Castilla. With league games ahead over the weekend and another Champions league match to follow next week, no reason to wear our the starters too much.
Sevilla will also be in action early against Sabadell of the Segunda División.
The second leg matches for both of those ties are scheduled for December 2nd and 3rd respectively. The rest of the Round of 32 will get underway starting on December 2nd as well, with matches running through the 4th.
All ties in the Copa del Rey knockout stages, minus the final, are two leg affairs with the winner being determined by aggregate goal total.
