Thierry Henry will not play for the New York Red Bulls next season. Red Bull head of global football Gerard Houllier confirmed to francefootball.fr that the Frenchman would not play for the MLS club in 2015 and that when his contract ends after this season, his time in New York will be over.
Thierry Henry will not return to Red Bulls after season
The Red Bulls have confirmed that Thierry Henry will not play for them again next season, but whether he retires is still unknown.

“He planned to put an end to his career, it is possible that these could be his final matches,” Houllier said. “It may be that the urge will tickle him and that he will retire somewhere else, but it will not be with the Red Bulls.”
The 37-year-old has been tipped to retire after the season, but he has neither confirmed nor denied that. He has been entirely silent on the situation. Most people assumed it would at least be his last year with the Red Bulls, with the club cutting back on spending of late, but the striker might not yet call it quits.
There have been rumors that Henry would return to Arsenal to finish off his career. He could join the club in January and play through May, allowing him to both contribute to a Champions League team and end his career where he became a footballing legend.
