Liverpool are in serious need of a win after a very bad month of September, and they'll feel like they have a great opportunity to do so at home against West Bromwich Albion. The big story of the day is that Mario Balotelli has been dropped, with Rickie Lambert taking his place up top.
Mario Balotelli dropped, while Andre Wisdom can’t play for West Brom
Liverpool have moved Mario Balotelli to the bench, while West Brom have had to switch their right back.

Daniel Sturridge is still out, so all of Raheem Sterling, Phlippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana start. That could leave Steven Gerrard with a lot of defensive responsibility, especially against a team that likes to sit deep and counter through the middle.
The only change for West Brom is at right back, where Costa Rican international Cristian Gamboa gets his first start. Current first choice right back Andre Wisdom is on loan from Liverpool and can't play against his parent club. Otherwise, Alan Irvine had no reason to change a team that won 4-0 last week.
Liverpool starting XI (4-2-3-1): Simon Mignolet; Alberto Moreno, Dejan Lovren, Martin Skrtel, Javi Manquillo; Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson; Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana; Rickie Lambert
West Bromwich Albion starting XI (4-4-1-1): Ben Foster; Sebastian Pocognoli, Joleon Lescott, Craig Dawson, Cristian Gamboa; Chris Brunt, Craig Gardner, Graham Dorrans, James Morrison; Stephane Sessegnon; Saido Berahino
The game kicks off at 3 p.m. local, 10 a.m. ET from Anfield. You can catch it on NBCSN in the USA and Sportsnet regional networks in Canada.
