The New England Revolution got off to a rocky start this season, but they’ve been spectacular since the signing of designated player and United States men’s national team World Cup veteran Jermaine Jones. They’ve only lost once since signing him, and that loss came in a came he sat out. Can the Columbus Crew spring a serious upset in the Eastern Conference semifinals?
Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution: Time, TV schedule and live stream
The New England Revolution have been red hot since Jermaine Jones showed up, but can the Columbus Crew pull an upset?

While the Crew haven’t been as hot as the Revs, they’ve solidly been one of the better teams in the East during the second half of the season and did well to avoid the knockout round game. Federico Higuain has had another great season for Columbus, while Wil Trapp and Michael Parkhurst have made their defense formidable.
The Crew’s only missing players for this game are Fifi Baiden, Matt Wiet and Daniel Paladin, none of whom are first choice. New England are without veteran midfielder Shalrie Joseph, but shouldn’t miss him much.
