A hamstring injury means Fàbregas will miss the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus, as well as the friendly with Germany.

Blues supporters need not worry too much, however. Judging from a statement issued by the Spanish Football Federation, the injury does not seem serious:
The MRI done this morning in the Sanitas Clinic in La Moraleja (Madrid) showed a clear improvement with respect to the one done by his club on Sunday.
Although the MRI discards a hamstring tear, the player continues to have discomfort and the medical team considers that his involvement in the next games would not be advisable for his complete recovery.
Vincente del Bosque, too, will likely remain unshaken. While Spain lost to Slovakia in the last round of Euro 2016 qualifiers, emphatic wins over Macedonia and Luxembourg mean they still sit second in Group C. Belarus, who they face on Saturday, have picked up just a point, and are off the bottom of the group only by virtue of having a better goal difference than Luxembourg.
