Spain are still in a fight to ensure automatic qualification to Euro 2016, but they produced a much needed and expected victory on Saturday, rolling over Belarus, 3-0.
Spain vs. Belarus: Final score 3-0, La Roja virtually uncontested
That was simple enough.

Isco got the Spaniards on the board early, and with an absolutely gorgeous strike. On the edge of the penalty area, he picked up a pass from Koke and curled a stunner to the near post that Belarus goalkeeper Yuri Zhevnov had no chance of keeping out of the back of the net.
Just a minute later, Spain scored again, and there was no way back into the game from Belarus. Sergio Busquets was the unlikely scorer with a hopeful long-range shot that probably wasn’t going anywhere good before it took a deflection, fooling Zhevnov and sailing over the line to double La Roja’s lead.
As they’re known to do, Spain did a lot of passing the ball in circles as a form of defending. They added another goal in the 55th minute through Pedro, off a cutback ball by Juanfran. From there, the hosts had little incentive to attack, and Belarus couldn’t do anything about it.
