2014 was a big year for adidas and the brand’s famous Predator silo. The latest iteration, dubbed Predator Instinct, was released as part of the Battle Pack, which was a series of boots that all of the adidas athletes that participated at the 2014 World Cup wore during the tournament.
adidas caps off crazy 2014 for Predator Instinct with Hunt Series release

The Instinct was released on the 20th anniversary of the Predator silo and because of that important date, adidas went big. From the start of summer to this past weekend, the sportswear giant has released 14 different versions of the boot to celebrate 20 years in 2014. Those different versions have ranged from variations of the Battle Pack colorway to re-releases of favorites from 1994, 1998, and 2002.
The latest version of the Predator Instinct is another new colorway with a glow in the dark twist. Like the Battle Pack, this release also features the other four modern silos that adidas currently offers but the Instinct is the star of the show. The new pack, called the Hunt Series, is meant for players who want to stand out with skies already dark by the time they get out of work for the day.
The Predator, F50, 11Pro, and Nitrocharge are mostly white with green accents. The 11Pro’s glow in the dark paint mimics the pattern that was on the boot this summer while the Predator and F50 have grungier effects. The F50 is smoother with green fading to white from the toe back. The Nitrocharge features horizontal bands that are derived from the Energysling near the toe of the boot and the tonal pattern found on the launch colorways.
