Did Marouane Fellaini spit on Sergio Aguero?
It sure looks like it.
Sergio Aguero went down clutching his leg, and Marouane Fellaini was not happy about it. He thought the Argentine had dove to win a penalty and the referee waved play on, so Fellaini bent over the striker, seemingly to say something. But the cameras were zoomed in on him and seemed to catch him spitting on Aguero.
It’s possible that Fellaini didn’t intent to spit and the spit accidentally came out as he was bending over to say something to Aguero, or it could have been something else. But that does look like spit and Fellaini will have to answer questions over it.
