New York Red Bulls vs. New England Revolution live stream: How to watch the 2014 MLS Playoffs online

The league’s hottest team takes on a world football and MLS legend in his final season.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Eastern Conference Finals couldn't have worked out better for MLS. The New England Revolution are on fire at the moment, led by USMNT stars. Thierry Henry is playing his final season for the New York Red Bulls. The local rivals will send over 1,000 fans to each away leg of the final. On Sunday, they play the first leg at Red Bull Arena (1:30 p.m. ET, NBC).

If either teams wins MLS Cup, it will be their first in their history. Both teams have been to the final, but have never lifted the championship.

The Revs have no reported injuries and should have all their stars fully fit. Lee Nguyen and Jermaine Jones traveled to Europe to play with the U.S. men's national team last week, but were released after the first game of the trip and did not play on Tuesday. The Red Bulls have the same long-term injuries they've had for a while, with backup midfielder Michael Bustamante and left-sided USMNT veteran Bobby Convey both out.

Because the game is on NBC nationally, it will be easy for most users in America to catch the game online at NBC Sports Live Extra. Unlike most MLS matches that appear on this service, you will not need to be a TV subscriber to NBC Sports Network to watch.

If you’re in the UK, you can catch the game on ESPN and their streaming platform. For listings from more countries, check out Live Soccer TV.
