Manchester City vs. Bayern Munich: Lineups

Bayern’s lineup is filled with less familiar names thanks to a slew of injuries.

Pep Guardiola's lineup has been largely shaped by injuries and the fact that his team has already won Group E. With nothing on the line for the Germans, he's chosen to rest a few players and play a largely unrecognizable defense and midfield. Up front though things remain the same though with the lethal trio of Franck Ribéry, Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben assembled.

City need a win desperately to have any hope of advancing to the knockout round, which means a strong lineup from Manuel Pellegrini. Sergio Agüero leads the attack, supported Frank Lampard who takes over for the suspended Yaya Touré. David Silva's continued knee issues gives Jesús Navas a start as well.

Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Joe Hart; Gael Clichy, Mangala, Vincent Kompany, Bacary Sagna; James Milner, Fernando, Samir Nasri, Frank Lampard, Jesús Navas; Sergio Agüero

Bayern Munich (4-3-3): Manuel Neuer; Juan Bernat, Jerome Boateng, Medhi Benatia, Rafinha; Sebastian Rode, Xabi Alonso, Pierre Højbjerg; Franck Ribéry, Robert Lewandowski, Arjen Robben
