Arsenal vs. Borussia Dortmund: Lineups

Damián Martínez and Yaya Sanogo start in a weakened Arsenal lineup against Borussia Dortmund.

The big news ahead of Arsenal's Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates today is that goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has missed out through the injury he sustained in the recent Premier League defeat to Manchester United. In his place is Argentine youngster Damián Martínez.

The Gunners have also been forced into a reshuffle up top, with French striker Yaya Sanogo given the nod. Danny Welbeck misses out through injury, while Olivier Giroud is ineligible. Centre-back Laurent Koscielny is only fit enough to make the bench on his return from injury.

As for Borussia Dortmund, they line up pretty much as expected. Kevin Grosskreutz, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang play in support of lone striker Ciro Immobile.

Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Damián Martínez; Kieran Gibbs, Nacho Monreal, Per Mertesacker, Calum Chambers; Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta; Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sánchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Yaya Sanogo.

Borussia Dortmund starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Roman Weidenfeller; Marcel Schmelzer, Matthias Ginter, Neven Subotić, Łukasz Piszczek; İlkay Gündoğan, Sven Bender; Kevin Grosskreutz, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang; Ciro Immobile.
