Watch one of the funniest own goal howlers you will see

Things are not going to plan for Fiorentina against Cesena, as evidenced by this mind-numbingly bad own goal.

Fiorentina had been looking to correct a slump in form in Serie A against lowly Cesena, hoping to beat up a little bit on the relegation-threatened side and get some momentum going again.

Then they gave up a goal completely against the run of play to go down 1-0 on the road to a side that’s won just one match all season. Then, well... this happened.

That’s, um ... that’s not good goalkeeping by Neto.

Pro tip: generally when your centerback heads a ball back to you, you should pay attention to where it’s going and, you know, not let it slide past you and in to your own net.

The Fiorentina goalkeeper has been under some degree of fire of late for making a few mistakes, but this is a new low for the Brazilian. Hopefully Neto manages to get his form back in line soon, because it’s not like Fiorentina are swimming in goalkeeping options.
