Juventus have confirmed that they will be without wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah for up to four months after the Ghanaian international underwent keyhole surgery on a knee injury. A statement from the Serie A reigning champions read:
Kwadwo Asamoah sidelined for up to four months
The Juventus wing-back has undergone knee surgery.

“While his teammates were out training, Kwadwo Asamoah was in Barcelona to undergo arthroscopic surgery designed to fix torn cartilage in his left knee. The Ghanaian is expected to return to competitive action within three to four months.”
The news will come as a blow for Max Allegri's side, with Asamoah having been a valuable squad player for the bianconeri since joining from Udinese back in 2012. However, the good news is that Juve do at least have cover in that position, with Patrice Evra having filled the slot on the left of Allegri's 3-5-2 regularly since joining the champions from Manchester United in the summer.
Asamoah established himself as a first-team regular in Turin last season, making 32 starts en route to his second consecutive Serie A title.
