Coach kicks second ball onto pitch to stop other team from scoring

And it worked!

“Oh no, they’re going to score. I should kick a ball at their striker and hope that distracts him into missing. Maybe I’ll even hit him with the ball. That’d be cool. And there’s no way this could go poorly for me.”

He was right!

Jesina, an Italian Serie D team, were about to conceded a goal so one of their coaches kicked another ball onto the field. The attacker missed his shot, it was cool and he wasn’t sanctioned at all. So he was right about everything!
