Ayanda Patosi scored an absolute rocket from 25 yards

Standard Liege thought, “he’s at 25 yards, we don’t need to close him down.” It was a bad thought.

Imagining getting the ball at 30 yards, turning around and taking a dribble in a professional match. You would expect that, once you did that, someone would close you down because, well, this is professional football.

Standard Liege did not do that when Ayanda Patosi got the ball at 30 yards, turned and took a dribble. So he was just sitting there thinking, “this isn’t professional football, but I am a professional footballer.”

As a professional footballer, he can kick the ball hard. Really hard. Really, really hard. And he kicked the ball really, really, really hard.

Yay for kicking the ball really hard!
