No, I’m not into Christmas parties, not for footballers. I think it’s more aggravation than it’s worth. It’s a changing world out there and there’s always someone out there with a camera on their phone.
I haven’t spoken to them about it, they haven’t mentioned anything about a Christmas party. I think they understand the pitfalls of going out.
You’ve only got to be closing your eyes and someone has got a picture of you making it look like you’re drunk. It’s not worth the hassle.
Redknapp did say that QPR would actually be having a club Christmas party, if you consider a meal with the staff a party.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that Redknapp is down on Christmas parties. In 2009, his Tottenham Hotspur team went to Dublin and partied on Christmas, only to be spotted drunkenly stumbling down the street before returning to England in time for a 1-0 loss to Wolves.
Plus, Harry is less of a party and more of a bacon sandwiches kind of guy anyway.
