The Lionel Messi movie hits theaters on Jan. 1.

"Messi" is a film about, well, Lionel Messi. It's a little odd that they're making a movie about a person who is just 27 years old, but there is a buck to be made and at least they picked someone really incredible to do this about.
The plot of the movie will presumably go as follows:
- Messi is really good
- Wow! Look at how good he is
- Seriously, this dude is incredible
To be fair, that is a 100 percent accurate tale of events and it’s awesome.
