Wayne Rooney hit a corner kick about 40 feet in the air and nowhere near the field

This is why he makes the big bucks.

Wayne Rooney gets paid £300,000 per week, so he has to be really good. When he’s not scoring goals, he’s setting them up. And dead balls, like corner kicks, they are a piece of cake.

Except for when his foot comes out from under him and he hits a corner kick that balloons into the air, goes behind the goal and Rooney has to stand there looking like an idiot.

In that moment, Rooney is not very good. He is just another dude, making you feel like you’re not so bad at football after all, while you sit on your fat butt.
