They host the bianconeri on Tuesday, with the Italian champions having failed to secure their place in the knockout stages quite yet. They sit three points clear of Olympiacos in second place, and need only a draw away at the Calderón to progress. However, if they lose, and Olympiacos win at home to Malmö, they would be eliminated and have to settle for a spot in the Europa League.
Key player - Carlos Tevez (Juventus)
Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has been in some phenomenal form so far this season, having scored nine goals in his first 13 league games, and three in five Champions League appearances. His ability to dart between defenders and seemingly find the net from all ranges and angles is showing no sign of fading, and Atléti will have to be on their guard if they want to keep him quiet.
Key matchup - Atlético Madrid's right vs. Juventus' left
The continued absence of the injured Kwadwo Asamoah pretty much guarantees Patrice Evra a start on the left of Juventus' defence. Since moving from Manchester United in the summer he's continued to look pretty shaky at the back, so it wouldn't be surprising if Atléti tried to target the French international when they break forward on the counter-attack.
