Bayern Munich vs. Freiburg: Preview and TV schedule

Bundesliga strugglers Freiburg shouldn’t pose Bayern Munich a problem on Saturday.

Stuart Franklin

Unbeaten Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich have only dropped four points all season, and probably aren't going to drop any more on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's side welcome struggling Freiburg to the Allianz Arena, looking to extend their 13 point advantage over Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the table.

Freiburg finished fifth place last season, but having struggled with the departures of important first-team players like Max Kruse and Daniel Caligiuri in the summer, they’re now only a point clear of the relegation playoff spot. Suffice to say, manager Christian Streich has a battle on his hands over the remaining months of the season.

Bayern will be without Franck Ribéry and Holger Badstuber through injury, while striker Mario Mandžukić is suspended. Freiburg will be without four players through injury, with Václav Pilař, Sebastian Freis, Marco Terrazzino and Vegar Hedenstad sidelined.

Bayern Munich injuries and suspensions
