Hellas Verona vs. Torino: Preview and TV schedule

Hellas Verona and Torino continue their scrap for Europe at the Bentegodi in Serie A’s Monday game.

At the start of the season, the odds of Hellas Verona and Torino scrapping over a Europa League spot in February would've been pretty long. However, they've both greatly exceeded expectations and find themselves seventh and eighth respectively heading into their clash at the Bentegodi on Monday.

Hellas Verona would move level on points with fifth-placed Inter Milan with a win, while three points for Torino would see them move level with Hellas. The hosts head into this game buoyed by a dramatic 2-2 draw at home to Juventus last weekend, while Torino will look to bounce back from the embarrassment of being beaten at the Olimpico by an Alessandro Diamanti-less Bologna.

Fortunately neither side has too many injury concerns, with only Domenico Maietta missing for Hellas. He's been a regular fixture in their starting 11 so far this season, but fortunately he's their only absentee. Torino, meanwhile, will be without both Alessandro Gazzi and Barreto through injury. Giampiero Ventura won't be too concerned, with all of his first team stars available.
