David Moyes has spent much of the season giving laughable post-match interviews, blaming referees or circumstances or luck for their losses, while saying they weren't far off from getting it right. It was as if he thought nobody else watched the match he just did.

“I’ll front up.”
But it appears as if Moyes has finally figured things out.

David Moyes says United's display was "the worst we've played in Europe". "We never really got going and didn't deserve anything."

Manchester United aren’t completely doomed, although the lack of an away goal makes things tough. A good performance, especially at home, certainly puts them through to the quarterfinals, but there hasn’t been much of an indicator that a good performance is coming.
