This is a step above the usual nonsense -- Brendan Rodgers’ face in the sun, rising above a triumphant Steven Gerrard on a bed of rampant liver birds, or whatever. This is stupid in two directions. Because if Moyes goes, then the tattoo become instantly obsolete. And if he does well, which presumably the bearer would quite like, then it’s also obsolete. And there forever, either way.
