Three months ago, Florida didn’t have a single MLS team. Now they have a budding rivalry.
The Orlando, Miami MLS rivalry has begun
Florida fight.

On November 19, Orlando was awarded a team and today, it was announced that Miami would also get a team pending a stadium deal. Now Florida has two teams, but Orlando City SC wants to make sure that everyone knows who got going first. And who did things “the right way.”

— Orlando City SC (@OrlandoCitySC) February 5, 2014 #BuiltNotBought, like when Phil Rawlins bought the Austin Aztex and moved them to Orlando with the explicit goal of getting a MLS team. Yeah, #BuiltNotBought!
Three years later, they got their team and three years is infinitely longer than zero (check the math, it’s true).
They’re not going to lose the sex appeal game either.
