“Giant” may be a bit of hyperbole considering Botafogo’s relatively empty trophy case, but they’re certainly back, much to Deportivo Quito’s dismay. After losing the first leg of their two-legged playoff 1-0, Botafogo crushed Deportivo Quito, 4-0, on Wednesday night to qualify for the group stage.
Botafogo are back.
